KR Electrics is a locally owned Hawke’s Bay electrical business built on practical experience, hard work, and a commitment to quality workmanship. As a smaller, owner-operated company, I’m able to offer the personalised service, clear communication, and strong client relationships that larger companies often can’t provide. Owned and operated by me, Karawa Russell, I take pride in showing up when I say I will, delivering reliable results, and ensuring every customer feels valued and looked after.

With eight years in the electrical trade, I bring a wide range of experience across residential, commercial, and construction electrical work. My career has also taken me to the Pilbara mining sector in Western Australia, where I gained valuable experience in large-scale electrical construction and high-standard safety practices. Alongside my electrical work, I also have a strong background in forestry operations — everything from the manual groundwork, to heavy machinery work right through to management roles. That experience taught me to work efficiently under pressure, maintain high safety standards all of which carries through into the electrical work I do today.

At KR Electrics, I bring a straight-up practical mindset to every job. I look at what the real problem is, find the most straightforward and effective way to fix it, and get it done properly.
